I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Soon after getting married, my husband and I moved to Oregon where we spent the next 25 years in the Bend area. I started my art career (I also had a real job!) with watercolors over 30+ years ago. I was introduced to pastels several years ago and have fallen love with them because of the intensity in color. All of my current work is now pastel. I have won Best in Show, First Place, Second place and Artist of the Month. I have also won awards in several International Shows. I have won many Awards in local Galleries and have done many commissions as well.
